"To Capture a Moment"

Daniel's exciting collection of new works include several new large scale figurative works and also features church interiors and landscapes from the streets of France.  One can feel the artists passion to capture light within the vivid effects portrayed, from the blazing summer sun backlighting the beautiful model's summer hat, to the soft twilight tones of the sky ribboning off of the Seine river.  The "Paris Opera, Nocturne" offers striking blues of the night sky in contrast to the warm light on the stone edifice, calling the viewer to imagine the drama ringing out from the stage within. In "Guiding", one can feel the tender touch of a mother, while in the distance, a lighthouse represents her strength as a beacon. Lastly, the reverence portrayed within the walls of the churches as the soft candlelight sets the tone "To Capture a Moment" of peace before God.
